HiNu WIP photos

I started working on my MG Hi Nu Ver Ka (available here) in March and finished it August 13th, just in time for the Texas Gundam Club Grand Prix on the 14th. Here are some photos I took along the way! I painted the inner frame, added some parts to the shield, did some red panel lining on the fin funnels and installed a custom switch for the LED in the head. Fuel tank paint job attempt 1

I made some bad decisions so I started over by stripping the paint and primer off with brake fluid

Stripped down to bare plastic after putty, primer, and some painting missteps

Primed white, ready for paint again!

Finally done with the fuel tanks! This part took the longest. It's a curved surface that I removed seam lines, painted and then masked for the 2 stripes (of different sizes btw).

What a beauty! Still some mistakes but overall they came out how I envisioned them.
